Every small detail matters, from the hand polishing of turned wooden legs to the hand pattern-matching of the fine fabrics, commissioned from the finest fabric mills.
It’s what you can’t see that makes all the difference. The hardwood frames are hand-assembled using traditional joinery skills, dowelled, glued and screwed. And the seats and backs are sprung, with the highest quality fillings including feather, down and foam. Duresta choose and use only the best materials, building their furniture with pride and passion.

The Duresta Berkeley Nightingale Wing chair is a celebration of classic English style and quality. A new take on the traditional high-back wing chair, it has lavishly deep wings and luxurious scroll arms, so when you sit in it you feel cocooned.
While it’s classic in style, as an accent chair the Nightingale is perfect for the contemporary home – beautifully handcrafted with elegant curving lines defined by precise piping and high, ebony finish legs on chrome castors.
This striking chair is finished in an extensive choice of Duresta’s fine, pattern matched fabrics – including a new shimmering velvet. The seat is coil sprung, while the luxury fibre seat cushion and duck feather filled back cushion make sure you’re sitting comfortably.

Top tip. Some fabrics can show wear on areas of more use or in direct sunlight. To keep your fabric upholstery looking fresh, plump, turn and rotate seat and back cushions regularly if possible.
