The fabulous mattress is 30 cm deep and has 2000 pocket springs in king size, layered with natural fillings including cotton, Hampshire wool, silk and super-soft cashgora. It’s hand taped, hand tufted and finished with an Egyptian cotton cover that is treated with a chemical-free fire retardant and has four handles for ease of turning. The accompanying platform-top divan base has firm edges for extra support and is offered with optional storage drawers. Choose from a wide range of upholstery fabrics. Please note: The mattress should be aired for four hours after delivery to freshen and remove any aroma from storage. It may take time for your mattress to attain its full size once the springs have settled to the correct position. This is due to the mattress being upright during transit. Settlement of fillings and indentations caused by body weight compressing the fillings are natural and not considered defects. This can be minimised by regular rotating (unless yours is a dual tension mattress).
