Our premier delivery service
It’s important to us that from the moment you choose your furniture or accessories to the day that you take delivery everything goes as smoothly as possible.
Furniture Village’s dedicated home delivery specialists are trained to appreciate the high quality of the furniture you have purchased, and the work of the master craftsmen who make it. As a result, they are extremely careful in their handling of your furniture at every step of the delivery process. Their goal is to make sure that you are a satisfied customer on delivery day.
To keep your costs down we charge one flat rate per order, rather than per item, this rate is currently a very competitive £49. Delivery is from Monday to Saturday and we will do our best to arrange the most convenient delivery time for you (bearing in mind our delivery teams’ schedules and warehouse opening hours). If our supplier is providing a direct home delivery, please bear in mind this is usually a Monday to Friday service..
Estimated time until deliveryYour estimated delivery time will be provided at the point of sale, but will depend on current stock levels and whether or not the item is being made to order – for example if you have ordered a sofa or bed upholstered in your choice of colour and fabric. The estimated delivery time is calculated from the day of the order but does not include weekends and Bank Holidays, and does not apply to Scotland or areas further than a 40 mile distance from the nearest distribution centre.
Once your goods have arrived, a member of our Premier Delivery Service Team will be in touch in order to arrange your delivery day to suit your needs.
On the delivery day, our Home Delivery Specialists will:
- install your furniture exactly where you would like it in your room of choice;
- remove (and recycle) all of the packaging;
- remove and dispose of your old furniture on a like for like basis*
- make sure that everything is exactly as you want it.
For most items delivered via the Furniture Village Premier Delivery Service, installation is included. However there are a few exceptions. Items where customer self-assembly and/or installation is required include:
- children’s furniture
- wall hung mirrors
- garden furniture
- the following bedframes: Fizz, Spritz, Libre, Luna, Delaney, Dakota, Sophia & Lottie.
- this list is not all encompassing, and will vary from time to time as our ranges and products change. To help you we try to indicate in the product description where self-assembly is required.
Where we deliver
Furniture Village delivers to mainland England, Scotland and Wales. Where the delivery area is more than 40 miles away from our nearest distribution centre, or in Scotland, for logistics reasons we estimate an additional 1-2 weeks will need to be added on to the originally quoted delivery time.

Recycling of old furniture
For an additional charge our own home delivery specialists can recycle and dispose items on a 'like for like' basis. For example, if we deliver your new bed, we can dispose of your old bed at the same time.
*Unfortunately, we cannot offer disposal where products are delivered from our suppliers' Direct Home Delivery teams.
PLEASE NOTE - Some products vary in the delivery method, and where this is the case we make this clear in the product information. For example some accessories are delivered by courier.
