After all, there’s something luxurious, timeless and ultimately stylish about a beautifully designed sofa from Italy such as the gorgeous Nicoletti Tesla Leather Corner Sofa. But what is it about that Italian design and that exclusive Made in Italy label that’s so special? Italy is famous for its history defining movements in art and architecture over thousands of years, and it was in Italy that the modern age began, with the Renaissance. So it’s no surprise that, thanks to their incredible history and culture, Italians have a sophisticated understanding of beauty and style, underpinned by centuries of the finest craftsmanship.

Many of today’s iconic modern pieces of furniture have originated in Italy. Italian designers were inspired by the modern architecture movement to produce innovative, beautiful, elegantly functional furniture for a new age. Excited by the possibilities, they embraced modern production methods, but held on to the craftsmanship that made every finishing touch exquisite. And the pioneering design and innovation continues to this day.

Nicoletti Home is internationally renowned for its passion for design, eye for detail, and talent for making sleekly modern sofas and armchairs that are beautifully stylish and superbly comfortable. As lovers of Italian design, we’re delighted to introduce a wide choice of new sofas, chairs and recliners from Nicoletti Home, designed and made exclusively for Furniture Village.

You’ll find a wide choice of chic styles, with clean modern lines and ingenious functionality. The soft upholstery is premium Italian leather or fabric, in a wide choice of beautiful colours, some of which are quite bold and vibrant. And the leathers are of course Italian leathers in a choice of grades, from the highest quality hides.

With deep foam filled cushioning, and the choice of inbuilt recliners and adjustable headrests and even useful USB ports, Nicoletti sofas and armchairs are made for relaxation. But it’s in the choice of relaxed, modern styles that these Italian designed and made sofas really come into their own.

The Lucano is impressively roomy, with softly curved lines and a choice of three arm styles – cushion arm, box arm or slim arm. The Vincitore is high-backed with deep cushioning and luxuriously padded arms, and the accompanying Ketty swivel chair has dramatically curved arms and a simple, chic polished chrome base.

The Movimento comes in both low profile and high-backed styles, while the Azione low profile sofas and chairs have chrome finished ski style legs and box or cushion arms, and the fabric upholstered Flambe summer chaise is a real statement piece, with its gorgeously curved profile.

The Eleganza lives up to its name with its sleek lines and its drop-down ratchet headrests transforming low profile style into high-backed comfort in seconds. The Lusso has wide, shaped arms and elegantly slim metal legs in a polished chrome finish, and the Novita has an urban vibe with a unique ‘push-back’ system that means you can increase the seat size by up to 25cm if you need more room to relax.

The Swing chair is another lovely accent chair, with a sweeping curved frame and legs in either dark walnut or rosewood, and a down feather filled back cushion.

Leather or fabric, neutrals or bolds… whichever look you choose, when you bring a Nicoletti Home sofa or chair into your home you’re introducing a generous dash of Italian design with all its chic, stylish simplicity and sleek functionality. What’s not to love?
