Who is Wiemann?

Wiemann is one of Germany’s leading bedroom furniture makers, famed for its precision-engineering techniques and the clean, sophisticated lines of its contemporary designs. Today, its high-end bedroom furniture can be found in homes all around the world, but its roots had much more humble beginnings in a small town in Germany. In 1900 Mathias Wiemann opened his workshop in a small country inn in Osnabrück, Germany. After steadily increasing his orders and acquiring the company’s first machinery, Wiemann grew the company into the industry-leader it is today, eventually passing it down each generation until his great-grandson Markus Wiemann took over the company in 2005.

That small country inn remains the present-day location of Wiemann’s state-of-the-art factory, producing hundreds of made-to-order wardrobes every day, not to mention beds, chests of drawers and bedside cabinets.
