At Furniture Village, we’re committed to quality. Everything we sell is beautifully made and built to last.
And that commitment to quality extends to our Premier Delivery Service.

Delivered with care

Most deliveries are carefully made by our Furniture Village blue van fleet, which covers the majority of the mainland UK. Our Home Delivery Specialists treat every item as if it was their own, so you can rest assured that your order will arrive in perfect condition. Certain items are delivered by our approved delivery suppliers.

If you prefer, you can collect your order from your nearest Furniture Village collection point.

Keeping your costs to a minimum

To keep your costs to a minimum, our delivery rates are on a 'per order' basis, rather than 'per item'.
Smaller items including accessories may be delivered separately.

Estimated delivery time

Once your order has been processed you’ll be provided with an estimated day and time of delivery. This will also be noted on the product detail page. Our delivery schedules depend on stock levels and, of course, whether your item has been made to order. As you would expect, furniture that has been made to order will take longer, but it's always worth the wait.

We try to arrange the most convenient delivery time for you, Monday to Saturday (not including bank holidays).

Items delivered by our approved delivery suppliers will arrive Monday to Friday.

Where we deliver to?

Furniture Village delivers to mainland England, Scotland and Wales.

If you live in Scotland, the Highlands, or in a postcode more than 40 miles away from a Furniture Village collection point, one to two weeks will need to be added to the originally quoted delivery time.

Recycling of old furniture

For a small fee, our own home delivery specialists can recycle or dispose of items on 'like for like' basis. This means that if we deliver a new bed to you, we can dispose of your old bed at the same time.

Products eligible for recycling or disposal will be identified when you place your order at Checkout. Unfortunately, we cannot offer recycling or disposal of items for products delivered by our approved delivery suppliers.

Once your furniture has arrived in our warehouse

As soon as your furniture is ready and waiting, our team will be in touch to arrange a delivery date, so you can make sure you're at home to receive your furniture.

We'll contact you again on the morning of the agreed delivery day to remind you, and to give you a 2 hour delivery window. If your furniture is going to be delivered before 10am, we'll contact you the night before delivery.

If our suppliers are providing a direct home delivery, this will usually happen Monday to Friday.

On delivery day

On the agreed delivery day, our Home Delivery Specialists will:

Install your furniture exactly where you would like it in the room of your choice

Remove (and recycle) all of the packaging

Remove and dispose of your old furniture on a ‘like for like’ basis*

Make sure that everything is exactly as you want it

Free instalation

We offer free installation for most items delivered by the Furniture Village Premier Delivery Service. Items that might require customer self-assembly and/or installation might include:

Selected children's furniture

Selected office furniture

Selected bedframes**

Wall-hung mirrors

Garden furniture


Our collection service

If you prefer, you can use our collection service instead of our delivery service. Most items are available for collection from a Furniture Village collection point.
Please review your Shopping Basket to see whether your item is eligible for collection. Here’s how:

Step 1

Place your order online.

Step 2

We will let you know when your items are ready to collect from your chosen Furniture Village collection point.

Step 3

You will receive full details of the collection point address and opening hours as part of your order confirmation email. Go to the reception of the collection point to pick-up your order.


What to bring when collecting your order.

Please be sure to being the payment card that you used to purchase the items as well as proof of your identity (a driving license or passport, for example).
Please note, only the person who placed the order can collect the order. It cannot be collected by somebody on your behalf.
You must collect your order from your chosen collection point within 7 days. Unfortunately, we are unable to keep your order for more than 7 days after we have notified you that your item of items are available for collection.
After 7 days, the items will be returned to the warehouse and you will be issued with a refund via your original payment method.

How to report a damaged item

If, when your order has been unwrapped in your home, there are signs of transit damage, a member of our delivery team will liaise with you to sort the problem, where possible. For more information, please refer to our Returns and Cancellations page for step-by-step advice.

* For a small fee, our own home delivery specialists can recycle and dispose items on a ‘like for like’ basis. Unfortunately, we cannot apply this service for products that are delivered from our suppliers. Please Click here to refer to our recycling and sustainability policies for more details.
** If self-assembly is required for our Fizz, Spritz, Libre, Luna, Delaney, Dakota, Sophia and Lottie bedframes, this will indicated on the product detail page.
