1. The Lemon Grove

Journey to the serene and sunswept vistas of the Amalfi Coast in our Italian-inspired twist on the English country home. Zesty tones of lemon and ochre pair with traditionally crafted furniture to create a rustic summer sanctuary that invites you to live ‘La Dolce Vita’ all year round.

“Go for a sofa in a bold yellow and decorate with statement scatter cushions. Here, classic patterns of fleur-de-lis mingle with modern prints to create a culture-clash of design styles that feels right on trend,” explains Elkie.

What’s more, sunny tones and textured rugs elevate the classic silhouettes of The Lounge Co. Romilly sofa and Hamilton dining table, breathing new life into much-loved styles.

“Ornamental hand-glazed ceramics and natural foliage bring a distinctive Mediterranean flavour to classic country designs while rattan accessories add an authentic artisan touch,” explains Elkie Brown.

Accent with one or two lime and bottle green trinkets. Then, why not add a couple of pieces of abstract impressionist wall art for the perfect finishing touch? All that’s left now is to pour yourself a glass of limoncello, sit back and unwind…

2. A La Mode

The inspiration for our next look? The sophisticated, je-ne-sais-quoi charm of the Parisian townhouse.

“Quiet luxury is set to become a huge trend in 2024. Think regal furnishings, clean, modern shapes and a minimalist monochrome palette,” advises Elkie.

To create a refined yet inviting ambience, choose a sofa that oozes laid back charm. The Pandora range pairs effortlessly with occasional pieces that boast elegant curves like our ceramic Yoyo table.

Natural stone and soft chenille abound while space-elevating touches of marble and and silver bring glitz to a pared-back palette.

“With a minimalist scheme like this, less is definitely more. Opt for just one or two statement accessories with heavy detailing like a wall candelabra or ornate rug,” suggests Elkie.

Top tip: Decorative panelling and coving infuse this look with an elegant bygone charm.

3. Saharan Sunsets

Find calm and serenity in this tranquil oasis inspired by the desert heat of the Sahara. Warm golden tones contrast against lush greenery to create the impression of a verdant idyll nestled amongst the sand dunes.

Organic, natural materials like frayed linens and handcrafted oak add textural dimension to this cosy retreat. “Industrial-style wooden furniture and leather sofas ground this look in the natural world too,” explains Elkie

“Use geometric and tribal hangings to add a splash of personality to your walls. Look for pieces that inspire you or make you feel at home,” suggests Elkie.

Berber rugs appear throughout, contrasting against the sunbaked backdrop. Alongside throws and cushions, these make the look feel cosy.

Finally, no desert dwelling is complete without a smattering of cacti and ferns. “Use greenery to bring the outside in, especially hanging plants,” advises Elkie.

5. Through the Kaleidoscope

If you love colour, you’ll love our next look. Bursting with nostalgic style notes from the 70s and 80s, this trend is a love note to the heyday of lava lamps and colour clashing.

At once eclectic and homely, this look is all about inviting fun and joy into your space. “Be bold with your colour and pattern choices. Stripes against checks. Mustard on navy. Anything goes!” advises Elkie.

Next up? Quirky statement walls. Experiment with striking kaleidoscopic tiling or a colour block feature wall in a primary colour to create impact. “Play with all sorts of different textures too. Exposed brickwork, fuzzy throws and hessian rugs are great ways to add visual interest to your space,” explains Elkie.

Modern country-style furniture creates a warm, cosy feel and provides the perfect backdrop for the vivid jewel tones and playful patterns to really pop.
