Bonus and commission
Every Furniture Village employee is rewarded through a commission scheme based upon their personal sales or a bonus scheme based on their team’s or the company’s performance.

Paid holiday
Paid holiday starts at 28 days, including public and bank holidays, up to a potential 33 days paid holiday a year with an additional day per year of service. Working on bank holidays may be required.

Management benefits
General Store Managers, Group Managers and Senior Management across the business receive further benefits including private health care and company cars.

Life benefits Pension
All eligible employees are automatically enrolled in our pension scheme shortly after joining.

Group Income Protection Scheme
Income cover to support you and your family if you are unable to work due to incapacity, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

Life assurance
Subject to meeting eligibility criteria, if an employee dies in service our life assurance scheme pays a lump sum based on annual salary to a nominated beneficiary.

Childcare vouchers
Childcare vouchers can be purchased tax free through a salary sacrifice scheme and put towards the cost of childcare, saving in tax and national insurance.

Cycle to work scheme
Our cycle to work scheme offers financial assistance to help you buy a bike.

Long service
Almost 90% of our employees have been with us for over a year and many have been with us for more than five, 10, 15 and even 20 years. Long service is recognised and rewarded, and important life events are celebrated too.

Learning and development
At Furniture Village, we’re committed to investing in the learning and development of all our employees. All new starters take part in our comprehensive induction programme and continue with continuous development plans and annual appraisals. There is also training in product and technical knowledge, systems training, sales and customer service skills, supervisory skills, and management so that everyone has the tools to be successful.
