The Calligaris story

Antonio Calligaris started his small artisanal business in 1923, producing the "Marocca" chair with wood from the Italian mountains and local straw. In the 1960s Calligaris began to grow into the world recognized brand it is today. In the 1990s Calligaris expanded its range creating modern dining furniture and beautiful storage units in a mix of materials including wood, metal and glass. A Calligaris table is as practical as it is good looking, and Calligaris chairs are as comfortable as they are stylish. No wonder Calligaris is now a truly international company, famous for its design and innovation, with flagship stores in Milan and Paris.
