Teal the Show

Venture into a world of plush velvet and curated calm with this gorgeous, teal-infused take on colour drenching.

“It’s all about creating a sense of serenity,” explains stylist Elkie Brown. Teal’s jewel-like charm saturates the look with a moody ambience that feels luxurious without being over the top. “This deep blue-green hue invites you to cocoon and nest for hours on end.”

Mid-century furniture grounds the look with timeless appeal while parquet flooring flooring and wall panelling help break up the space.

To soften things, use the warmth of oak furniture, and in the bedroom, introduce orange and ochre throws and blankets to create a cosy haven in a sea of teal.

“The key to this look is contrast,” says Elkie. Dot gold and brass accessories throughout to brighten things up and illuminate the richness of your decor.

Cosy Cottage

Tucked away in a corner of the English countryside, you’ll find our next look. Cheerful and charming, this cosy, lived-in trend is perfect for those who want to embrace a slower pace of life.

“It’s all about feeling at home and comfortable,” says Elkie. Pair traditional furniture with whimsical decor in a nod to the Arts and Crafts movement to give your space a homely feel. “By peppering red through an otherwise neutral colour scheme, you give it a whole new energy,” says Elkie. Napkins, photo frames and cushions are great ways to introduce this head-turning shade into your space.

Elsewhere, classic button-back chairs pair with oak furniture and blue and white ceramics to create a classic country ambience, and soft textiles abound.

Finally, experiment with pattern clashing. “Gingham, stripes and polka dots bring added playfulness to your interior,” suggests Elkie.

Nature’s Palette

Grounded with organic influences and natural materials, this trend is a love letter to the Earth.

Nourishing greens and earthy browns blend together, bringing the outside in, while crafted details nod to the beauty of natural textiles and woods.

“This is rustic decor without the raw edges and unfinished hems, “ explains Elkie. Instead, lines are clean and simple, with an emphasis on silhouettes that create balance and harmony.

Thoughtfully crafted furniture from Bodahl sets the scene for stylish feasts while a statement leather Chesterfield promises many cosy evenings curled up by the fire.

“Give an authentic backdrop to your look by displaying earthenware ceramics and handwoven trinkets on open shelving,” says Elkie.

“Quiet luxury” takes a cool-toned turn in our futuristic interpretation of this year’s biggest trend - and it’s anything but chilly.

“Metallic accents, a muted colour palette and architectural silhouettes combine to create a serene space that feels refreshingly contemporary,“ says Elkie.

Pair unstructured linens alongside sculptural ornaments, and look to chrome furniture and accessories - like our striking Gabana lamp table - to reflect light into your space.

“Despite its wintery palette, comfort is at the heart of this look,” explains Elkie. “Weave soft textures throughout. Think plush rugs, plenty of cushions and a sofa that invites you to relax and unwind.”

Level up the cosy-factor even more with neutral lime washed walls and a comforting blend of beige, taupe and cream accessories.
