From the hand side-stitching and tufting of the mattresses to the high-quality joinery in the bed frame making and the stitching of the individual pockets for the springs, every bed that comes out of the Hypnos factory in Buckinghamshire is made with great care and attention to every detail.

Only the best materials are chosen for the mattress fillings, such as British wool, cashmere and silk. Hypnos combine traditional skills with innovative manufacturing processes, and are the first bed maker in the UK to be able to call their production processes completely carbon neutral.

  • Depth: 32 cm.
  • Weight: Single 33 kg, small double 44 kg, double 49 kg, king 57 kg and super king 69 kg.
  • Firmness: Medium and firm.
  • Springs: 1,800 ReActivePro™ 10-turn pocket springs in king size.
  • Pillow top: No.
  • Detachable topper fillings: Red Tractor-assured wool, latex.
  • Mattress fillings: Red Tractor-assured wool, latex, polycotton.
  • Cover: Fire-resistant and chemical-free viscose and Tencel mattress ticking.
  • Requires turning: Yes.
  • Sizes: Single, small double, double, king, super king.
  • Mattress care: Air for 4 hours before using to remove any odour. Allow at least 4 hours for springs to settle and for mattress to attain its full size. Indentations caused by settlement of fillings or body weight are normal and are not considered defects. If used on a slatted bed frame, the space between slats must be no wider than 7.5 cm. Spaces wider than this may cause excess dipping of the mattress and invalidate the guarantee. Always use a mattress protector. Rotate regularly.
