Mattresses are layered with 10-turn ReActivePro™ pocket springs, naturally luxurious Talalay latex, cotton, responsibly sourced British wool for cooling comfort and, perhaps best of all, sumptuous pillow tops. Pillow tops are detachable, which makes the mattresses in this collection turnable – we recommend seasonally – for comfort that lasts even longer. The collection also includes divan sets with optional storage drawers and ottoman compartments. The handcrafted Hypnos Bespoke Majestic range is exclusive to Furniture Village.

Individually handcrafted beds with carbon neutral production

Generations of expertise go into the hand crafting of every Hypnos bed, so it’s no wonder they have been awarded the prestigious Royal Warrant. From the hand side-stitching and tufting of the mattresses to the high-quality joinery in the bed frame making and the stitching of the individual pockets for the springs, every bed that comes out of the Hypnos factory in Buckinghamshire is made with great care and attention to every detail.

Only the best materials are chosen for the mattress fillings, such as British wool, cashmere and silk. Hypnos combine traditional skills with innovative manufacturing processes, and are the first bed maker in the UK to be able to call their production processes completely carbon neutral.

  • Mattress care: Air for 4 hours before using to remove any odour. Indentations caused by settlement of fillings or body weight are normal and are not considered defects. If used on a slatted bed frame, the space between slats must be no wider than 7.5 cm. Spaces wider than this may cause excess dipping of the mattress and invalidate the guarantee. Always use a mattress protector. Rotate regularly.
