1. Under the Tuscan Sun

Ciao, bella! Whisk yourself away to rural Tuscany with this first summer trend, inspired by the iconic landscape’s verdant vistas and sun-dappled terraces.

“Here, sunny ochres, buttery yellows and terracottas are key. We chose a beautiful velvet sofa from our Rene range in a deep ochre that fills the room with warmth,” explains Lauren Davenport, Accessories Buyer.

“Industrial furniture brings a rustic charm that complements a warm-toned palette. Look for pieces that pair metal and wood in striking fashion like this gorgeous Earth dining table.”

Finishing touches like pampas grass and a boho rug create a homely, natural feel – especially against flagstone floors and off-white walls.

2. Meet me in Miami

Fancy popping across the pond to the palm-fringed beaches of Miami? This next trend packs a punch with its eclectic mix of pastel hues and quirky take on contemporary minimalism.

“Minimalist spaces often have a sleek, clean feel, but you can always mix it up. Look for accessories with interesting shapes and unusual silhouettes to give your space flair,” says Lauren.

Glossy or marble furniture temper this look’s sweetness. Sideboards and coffee tables are great choices – plus, they look gorgeous against bubblegum pink feature walls!

Lauren’s top tip? “Little touches of chrome and gold add a luxe feel here.

3. Among the olive trees

Imagine if you infused Mediterranean design with a Scandi sensibility. That vision is exactly what inspired this next summer interior trend.

Lauren’s advice? Start with olive green. “Whether you paint a feature wall or choose a sofa in this calming shade, it sets the tone. You want it to feel as natural and peaceful as possible.”

Soft linens, textured rugs and rustic pottery will help you make this look your own and give it an authentic finish.

Beautifully handmade pieces from Ercol complete the look. “Ercol’s organic designs are the perfect pairing for a space inspired by the tranquility of shady olive groves,” explains Lauren.

4. Postcard from the desert

Morocco or New Mexico, there’s plenty of inspiration to be found in the sunbaked landscapes of desert destinations.

“Translating heat into a colour scheme leads you to wonderful shades like deep terracotta and dusky rose. These rich hues look stunning against a simple, white-washed wall,” says Lauren.

And don’t forget to bring in some greenery to this summer interior trend. Cactus plants are most at home in the desert, so it’s the perfect time to put your plant mum credentials to good use.
