How to care for your mattress

Air your mattress regularly

Regularly remove all bedding and the mattress protector - on a weekly basis - to allow air to circulate through your mattress.

Turn down your bedding each morning - for at least 20 minutes - to air your mattress. This helps to remove excess moisture that has accumulated overnight.

Keep your mattress clean

Avoid using detergents or chemical cleaning agents, dry cleaning, or scubbing with a hard brush as this can damage the material or stitching of your mattress, or harm underlying materials.

If the manufacturer's care guide allows, you can clean your mattress by vacuuming it regularly to keep dust at bay.
NOTE: If your mattress has natural fillings you should not vacuum it. Instead brush it with a soft brush.

Treat stains and spills as soon as possible. Use mild soap and cold water and rub your mattress lightly with a soft cloth.

If you are treating a stain, do not saturate the mattress with cleaning fluid or water.

Care for your memory foam mattress

It's completely normal for memory foam mattresses to soften over time. This is due to the slight compression caused by body weight and as the memory foam opens up more fully. Your mattress will still provide the right level of support for you.

NOTE: Memory foam mattresses don't require turning.

How to care for your pillows

Plump pillows regularly to keep them soft and comfortable.

Change your pillows every three years or so - you will notice the difference.
