"Nice!" We're celebrating our 25th Birthday, which makes us a kid of the 80's, and we've been having loads of fun reminiscing about our childhoods: The games we used to play in the living room, the shows that were on telly and in particular the toys we really wanted for our Birthdays. In fact, we had so much fun we made a bit of a game out of it and we've been asking you to play our Generation Game to see how many toys from our childhood you can remember. If you haven't played it yet you can still join in over on our Facebook page.

We've decided that Birthdays should be about giving and not receiving so we're giving away all the games your saw on our Generation Game conveyor belt. Fun Fact! Between 1983-1987 40 million Care Bears were sold!

The Care Bears characters were created in 1981 at American Greetings, but weren't sold as toys and other products until 1983. To keep the character program secret until it was ready to be advertised, it was called Project II by American Greetings and the company's partners. They were called this because Care Bears was the second group of characters American Greetings and these partners created—the first being the well-known and hugely successful Strawberry Shortcake characters.
