Animal adoption

To coincide with National Unwanted Pet Week (which starts on Monday 26th May 2014), we’ve teamed up with the UK’s leading animal charity Wood Green, The Animals Charity to bring rescue animals, in need of homes, to your attention. We've made our feline and canine friends honorary models for a number of Furniture Village items so you can imagine what a lovely addition these critters will be in your home.

Whether it’s Biscuit the Beagle Cross, a cat called Mildred or Justin the goat, Wood Green assesses each animal that comes through its doors and every animal is treated accordingly by a dedicated team of veterinary surgeons and nurses, and cared for by experienced members of the team.

Wood Green works tirelessly to ensure their animals find secure, loving new homes. We want to help make the virtual homing of these animals a reality. The re-homing process for each animal is unique and Wood Green provides the on-going guidance and practical advice for both new and existing pet owners.

So this month, while you’re turning your house into a home or updating your home to make it feel fresh and new, why not give one of these adorable furry friends, a reason to smile?

Lilly

Lilly, a two-year-old Terrier, is looking for a training minded home with experienced owners. She's seen here expertly modelling next to the Boardwalk small sofa.

Boudicca

Boudicca is a real queen and can be seen here royally lounging on the Vi-Spring Shetland Double divan. She was brought in with her sister, Cleopatra, and would really like to be homed with her.

Alfie

Alfie is a lively chap looking for a loving home. He's taking a casual pose next to the Ridley range.

Cooper

Cooper might only have three legs but he doesn't let that stop him from being a dog full of life. He's seen here with the Langham Place snuggler chair.

Kerry

Kerry loves to curl up on laps and purr and would be a lovely new addition in any home. She's seen here enjoying the Langham Place three seater sofa.

Corey

Corey may have a very serious looking face but he's a fun loving dog at heart! He's hanging out next to the Imperial double bedstead, he promises not to jump on it.

Rocky

Rocky, the naughty scamp, is seen here on the Ambriella double bedstead. As you can probably see, he enjoys cuddles and has a lot of love to give.

Gunner

Gunner is a lovely boy who loves to play football. He's also a very cuddly chap and he's seen here waiting for a stroke on the Sleepeezee Derwent Double divan.

Stanley

Stanley loves to run, it's his most favourite thing. He's seen here standing next to the ercol originals dining range.
