So this is that was Christmas…
Though those Christmas classics sound gloriously festive in early December, by the time Santa Claus has come to town (and left again), you’d gladly never hear them again.

So, this year, to save us from tears, Furniture Village is delighted to offer local, unsigned musicians the chance to get a unique break by having their songs played in-store at Furniture Village across the UK during the busy post-Christmas sales period.  As a result, from the last days of December 2012 to February 2013, visitors to Furniture Village will have the opportunity to hear the best new music firstas they pick out their latest fabric armchair.

The competition

On Boxing Day 2011, over 400,000 people visited Furniture Village branches across the UK to discover new home furnishings…a potential audience more than twice the size of the crowds at the 2011 Glastonbury Festival!

Every act whose music is selected for performance in-store will be showcased online within the Furniture Village website, with links to their sites and information for new fans.
